Tower Climber

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 September 2026

Tower Climber is a free single player arcade game published by DataXad. This policy applies to the game on every platform it runs on.

The game has no accounts and no sign-in, and you never tell it anything about yourself. Nothing about you ever leaves your device.

What the game saves on your device

The game saves your progress locally on the platform you are playing on, and nowhere else. All of it is anonymous game progress:

It is stored using your platform's ordinary local app storage. It is never transmitted anywhere.

What leaves your device

Nothing about you.

The game has no advertising and no analytics. It does not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or location. It does not read any device identifier or advertising identifier, and it does not build a profile of you. There is no telemetry of any kind. None of the progress described above is ever sent anywhere.

Sharing a run

The game-over screen can draw a picture of your run and hand it to your platform's share sheet, or, where there isn't one, save the picture to your downloads or copy a link to the game to your clipboard.

The game only produces the picture. Where it goes next is your choice, and whatever app you pick handles it under that app's own privacy policy. The game uploads nothing.

Rating the game

Now and then, after a good run, the game may ask your app store to show its rating card. The card belongs to the store, Google Play on Android and the App Store on iPhone and iPad. The game sends nothing with the request, and it never learns whether the card appeared, what rating you gave or what you wrote. Any rating or review you leave is handled by the store under its own privacy policy.

So that it does not ask too often, the game notes when it last asked and how many times. Like everything else it saves, that note stays on your device.

Links out of the game

This policy and the terms of use are published on this website, and the rows that open them on the game's About screen hand the address to your own browser. What follows is an ordinary web request made by your browser, not by the game, and the site keeps the ordinary server logs described below. The game sends nothing about you with it.

Playing online

If you play the game in a browser, the hosting server that delivers it may keep ordinary server logs, the kind every website keeps, such as your IP address, browser type, and the time of the request. Those logs belong to the hosting provider, not to the game.

The game itself still tracks nothing. It uses no cookies and no tracking pixels. It does save your progress in your browser, as described above, and that stays on your computer.

Children

The game is made for a general audience and is not directed at children. It does not ask any player their age, and it does not knowingly collect personal information from children, because, as "What leaves your device" says above, it does not collect personal information from anyone. If that ever changes, that section will say so first.

Your rights

Privacy laws such as the GDPR, the UK GDPR, and the CCPA give you rights over personal data that a company holds about you. Tower Climber does not collect or process any personal data, so there is nothing here to access, correct, export, or delete, and nothing to sell or share. If you want the game's saved progress gone, the next section says how.

Deleting your data

Everything the game saves stays on your device, so uninstalling the game or clearing its stored data removes all of it. There is nothing for us to delete on our side and no request process to follow, because we hold no records.

Software in the game

The game is built with open-source software, and includes sound effects and a font from other people. These are compiled into the game, not services it talks to, and none of them collect anything. Their licences are listed in the game under About, then Licences and credits.

The app store or platform you installed the game from may collect its own information about installs and crashes. That collection is governed by that platform's own privacy policy and is outside our control.

Changes to this policy

If the game ever gains a feature that handles information differently, this policy will be updated before that version ships, and the date at the top will change.
